Conception and ethical treatment of life in synthetic biology and in the life sciences

The goal for this Brocher residency would be to focus on my third publications on the topic of reflecting on the concept of life in the life sciences with the aim of publishing it in major philosophical / bioethics journal.

My work would immensely benefit from the scholarly and inspiring work environment of the Brocher residency. The time and space will help me to focus on my writing without the distractions and obligations of my daily work in the Netherlands.

A Brocher residency would further provide me with the opportunity to connect, converse and collaborate with the other researchers in the life sciences from various backgrounds. I am very eager to learn from others in this domain and to share my work and philosophical perspective.
