Exploring labour migration experiences and forced labour among Nepali migrant workers who worked outside of Nepal

My study aims to explore migration experiences (including forced labour) and coping mechanisms among Nepali migrant workers.

The specific objectives are:
• Synthesise evidence on coping mechanisms used by migrants;
• Estimate the magnitude of forced labour;
• Determine factors associated with migration (prior, during and post) and exploitation;
• Explore coping mechanisms employed by Nepali male migrants during their migration (prior, during and post); and
• Offer insights on methodological approaches of measuring forced labour
