Toward Harmonized Ethical Standards
A two-months visit at the Brocher Foundation would provide us with a peaceful workspace and facilities and thus with the opportunity to mine and analyze in a shared location our wealth of data, away from our separate on-going research projects. We would also be keen to discuss our findings with other researchers at Brocher and with experts from bodies such as the WHO, particularly on the matter of emerging regulation in the field of regenerative medicine in a global perspective. We should like to consider their feedback, present our work to colleagues at the Foundation and produce our two articles bringing sociological, regulatory and ethical understanding to the unfolding field of regenerative medicine.

Genetics and Identity
I aim to engage and cooperate with scholars at Brocher and in Switzerland in the field of genetics and society. During the stay I will work on a book manuscript and ideas for the follow on project. In addition, I hope to win the support of Geneva resident organisations for a Brocher Conference and my research into the on-the-ground material social effects of the frequent and regular applications of genetic testing.
