Siblings, families and cystic fibrosis
Objectives : My primary objective is to write a thesis chapter relating to information gained from the narrative interview with the child siblings in the study which links to ethical, legal and social implications theme. My objectives for the data collection chapter are: To explore and analyse the data collected from the narrative interviews with siblings in relation to the two themes ‘me and my family’ and ‘future selves’ To explore the sibling view of their own wellbeing within the family when living with a brother or sister with a diagnosis of cystic fibrosis, and how this influences their perception of their own and other’s needs. To identify any recurring themes that occur within the data. To compare data collected with existing studies. To identify new knowledge elicited.
