The Fondation Brocher is an essential player in this vital thinking process: one which will help make us aware of the real challenges in using our resources for maximum impact on the health of the people of the world.

Donations

The Brocher Foundation is a Swiss non-profit private foundation  recognized of public interest. Your donations are tax deductible according to the regulations in force.

A great potential to be developed and perpetuated

The Foundation is looking for partners in order to perpetuate its action and provide support to scientists working in its field of action.

Possible partnerships :

  • Cycle Brocher : Support all or part of the Cycle of conferences open to the general public in the Geneva and Lake Geneva region. This Cycle is designed to enable citizens to understand the ethical issues at stake and to form an opinion on advances in medical technologies. Citizens can thus understand the impact that these innovations have on society and their daily lives. This provides citizens with additional insight to make decisions and vote with a clear conscience.

  • One or more Research Grants for a stay at the Foundation for the benefit of a "Junior" researcher from a discipline or country of their choice. This gives a young researcher the opportunity to carry out his or her research project in excellent conditions and to have the chance to develop an international academic network at the Foundation.

  • A scientific workshop on a theme that is close to your heart. For example: Medically Assisted Reproduction, Artificial Intelligence, chronic diseases, rare diseases, pandemic management, end of life, etc.

  • Heritage and maintenance: committing ourselves to preserving and maintaining the Foundation's heritage means allowing us to devote our strengths and resources primarily to research. Your commitment also contributes to the maintenance of a bicentenary heritage, unique on the shores of Lake Geneva and listed in the inventory of the Monuments and Sites Service of the Canton of Geneva. The Domaine Brocher is also part of Switzerland's built heritage and as such is a member of the Domus Antica Association. Examples of partnerships: support for biodiversity (trees, flowers, beehives, etc.), repair of paths, repair of the Gloriette or maintenance of buildings.
