Affective injustice in healthcare
I am currently writing a book on affective injustice in healthcare. I look at instances in which a healthcare provider's and/or patient's affects are downgraded or misunderstood, the reasons for it, and possible remedy strategies. During my Brocher stay, I will finalise the book.
I am a researcher in medical ethics, trained in both philosophy and sociology and I practice a field philosophy/empirical bioethics approach. I am particularly interested in the ethical issues of patient participation, including issues of affective and epistemic injustice.
