Digital Health: Sociological Perspectives (a Book to be published by Wiley)
Our objectives for this residency are two-fold:
1. To complete all final editing (after the second peer-review process- see timeline) of the contributing chapters to this book
2. To finalise our editorial introduction in order to produce a coherent and innovative framework for sociological debates on digital health.
Expected outcomes are dealt with below.
I am a Research Fellow in the School of Applied Social Science at the University of Brighton. Currently I work in the Horizon 2020 funded 'EmERGE project', where I investigate the development and implementation of a mobile health (mHealth) platform to enable self-management of patients across five clinical sites.
Previously I have been a Senior Researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Health Promotion Research (Vienna) and I am a regular Guest Lecturer at the University of Vienna.
My research interests include digital health, co-design practices and citizens’ participation in healthcare.
