Organizers:

Introduction:

This workshiop will identify the most significant ethical issues in the field of mHealth and create a framework for addressing these issues through a consensus process.

In this workshop, we will bring together experts to discuss the current state of ethics and legislation regarding mHealth as a tool to provide real-time remote clinical support. We will address different ethical issues regarding mHealth for clinical support from the lenses of the different stakeholders, such as the patients, clinicians and App developers. Each workshop will begin with presentations from our group of diverse stakeholders, which will be followed by discussion on different ethical and policy themes in the field of mHealth. Together, we will be able to identify the most significant ethical issues in the field of mHealth and create a framework for addressing these issues through a consensus process.
